“Wow man, look at you, you have changed completely!” said Rishab with open arms.

“Rishab, my friend, how are you?  It is good to see you after such a long time.” I said as I went forward to give a hug.

“Feeling awesome, man, after seeing you and your extravaganza. My God! Expensive cars, awesome bungalow, rich flamboyant lifestyle, you are having a blast, bro. How do you manage to keep up with all these?” Rishab was truly elated.

“I am working in an IT Giant as a project manager” I lied.

“That settles everything now. You could never beat me in studies but I have to say you have completely surpassed me in this department. Good to find that you have finally moved on after the tragic death of your parents.”

“It is still 2-1 my friend. You have always won in school and college life, now I have won in job life. But you still score over me when it comes to Oindrila. She is still yours.” I smiled.

“Men will be men.  Nilesh told me that your uncle is jailed for murdering your parents! But why did he do so?” he changed the topic.

“You see I am a very trustworthy person. Even if I lie, it sounds true. It is the only quality I have” I could feel the tension building up as Rishab was getting uncomfortable.

“Thanks for believing me and coming tonight. Even the police believed my statements.” I continued.
“The fact is my uncle was trapped just as you are” I said with a natural evil smirk.

“What the ..” Rishab got up being totally confused.

“This is not a joke, dear Rishab” I took the gun out from the drawer and pointed at him.
“This gun is responsible for my parents’ death and my extravaganza. And now it will even the score between us”.
