Promises Of Lokenath Baba - The Almighty

Baba Lokenath lived from 1730-1890. Yes, nearly 150 years.
Though difficult to grasp by the western minds, but a truth is always true.

“You may not know me. You may not realize who I am. Just pray to me with a little touch of your heart, and I shall free you from gripping sorrows and miseries.”

“Whenever you are in danger, whether in war, forest, ocean or land, remember me. I shall save you.”
“I willingly reveal myself to you. Therefore, you are in a position to reach me, or else, it is impossible.”

“No power on heaven or earth can damage the devotees who take shelter under me. For there is none greater than me to punish you.”

“I can do whatever I like. It is only your lack of trust, your non-belief, that keeps your desires unfulfilled.”

“For those who with love and devotion surrender to me, if they are in trouble, my heart melts. This is my compassion. And with my compassion, my power flows out to them, freeing them from miseries and unhappiness.”

“For more than a hundred years, I have traveled through the hills and mountains and have amassed enough spiritual treasures. You shall sit at home and enjoy the fruits of my austerities.”

“My child, never miss the opportunity to meet the realized saints, for their blessings and presence will inspire deeper devotion and love for the divine and Guru . Being in the company of the holy ones, who live the truth is the greatest blessing of the Lord.”

“I have everything in me. What you need in life, you have only to take.”
“I am Eternal. I am Deathless. I AM.”

-BABA LOKENATH

BE AN ARDENT FOLLOWER OF BABA LOKENATH AND EXPERIENCE THE CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE.

History's Mystery

Time has witnessed repeated evolutions
Science has revealed several illusions
Hidden behind are unconcluded non-fictions
Light and knowledge - still exceptions.

That night was glorified with silvery moonlight
A handful of glow worms were insight
The horse arrived in ‘dale of hell’
Carrying the philosopher to remove its dark shell.

Though the surrounding was dark in colour
The philosopher was known for immense valour
The nature being so vividly alive
Silence and darkness prevailed in delight
But the haunted house - without moonlight.

The philosopher sat beside the lake
And put on his stylish specs
The trees and waves were dancing with a shake
As if there was an earthquake.

Some bats flew over with broken vibrations
Thy heart trembled with upsurging motion
Ever his brain ceased in total confusion.

The leaves murmured in gentle breather
Owl's call was heard hither and thither
Horror and terror surrounded the philosopher.

Thus he stood up and turned around
Saw white spirits in far surround
They were all floating near the sky
Perhaps they had wings to fly...

He had nearly fainted discovering the scandal
But courageously approached and lit up a candle
It was a haunted house darkly invisible
For time and science it was totally incredible.

He knocked the door just before
With his heart broken into parts
The hosts were none but ghosts
Along with them were bats and cats.

He entered the house unwillingly
Perhaps something attracted him unknowingly
His destiny suddenly came to a stand
As he was in no man's land.

The time was nearly dead of the night
A strong breeze suddenly blew off his light
...What happened next is anybody's guess
Science is in a mess solving this case.

But the real mystery was not the haunted house
But the one carrying them in their state of drowse
The horse itself was the supreme phantom
The only ruler of this mysterious kingdom.

Dale of hell is a dark shell
Where life is reduced to a single cell.
Its
History will always be a mystery
Unsolved and Unexplained.........

Life - The Biggest Strife
Life that smiles today
Will shortly pass away
Time too short to achieve so lot!

Life is never a bed of rose
Unless you're in right course
Try and be the next Subhash Chandra Bose!

Sweat under the sweet present
To make your future pleasant.
Let the evil past be forgotten fast
Let it be destroyed by rust...

Determination has no substitute
Man makes his own destination.
Give resistance to temptations
You are sure to be the champion.

Don’t wait for god to help
Overcome obstacles helping yourself
“Next to God are thy Parents”

Make your name immortal
By acquiring hearts of mortals
Do not stop till head drops and heart comes to a stop!

Life is dark without smile
Never lead a life of vile.
Do not fall in the trap of love
‘cause love itself is the biggest bluff.

What is life without pain?
Pain gives way to gain.
What is life without loss?
Loss makes one big boss.

Life itself is the biggest strife
A constant fight against all knives.

In the midst
My friends

Take time to live
‘cause this world
Has so much to give.

Dream Or Reality?
I was reading a horror book
With an intense terror look
Alone inside my tent
With a slight bend.

Suddenly the light went faint
I didn’t try to mend
From nowhere I heard a call
Calling my name 'Paul'.

“Who is it?”
I cried a bit
I went out around
To find no one to sound.

It was June
With a full moon
There were some pale pieces of cloud
Hanging around.

Suddenly there was a bolt from the blue
Without any clue.
I screamed
“Is it my dream?"
I hurried back to my bed
And there I laid.

Suddenly the owl were hooting high
As if someone was sure to die.

The bats were flying
Beneath I was lying
Again I heard the call
Calling my name 'Paul'.

I couldn’t move my lips
I was in deep sleep.
Sadly I couldn’t see the next morning
My dead body laid only for mourning.

Now I am far from this earth
To renew and to take a new birth.

Surely someone called my name 'Paul'
I will be back to solve it once and for all.

Was it my dream?
Or was it death that screamed?

Midnight Silence

The clock strikes its ultimate hour.
All the hustle and bustle
All the din and dust
Subsiding like another heavy shower.

The rustle of wind slowly fading
With earth's aimless motion invisibly ceasing.

Then that mere drop of dew
With glowing worms in contrasting hue
And that seducing vibration harmonizes
With your shuttle soul's alertness.

The sublime emptiness calmly descending
From that prescribed eternity
And your soul still animated
With 'certain certainty'.

You feel the heaviness of eyeline
And a cold chill through your spine
'Cause at last you discovered
that ecstatic enjoyment.
Your heart and soul
urging you to seize the moment.

And now awakening of your old lost soul
From the base of your oppressive hole
Leaving all bondages beneath
Wanting to breathe and breathe.

And so with every breath of this fragrant air
Spread love and bliss everywhere.
Release your positive vibes in warm layers
As you have so much time to feel and stare.

No more heavy heartbeats to give you pain
Or touchy agitated mind to make you insane.
Neither any weight nor burden to care
As all your worries reduce to bare.

Such is the peace and power of our mother Nature.

Ultimately that secret realisation
Reveals itself unto you to think.
That which surrounds and nourishes us
Is often the one that is taken for granted
And valued only when they are no more
Be it our Parents or our beloved Nature.

Love the one that loves you unreasonably
And just take your time to live
'Cause this Unparalleled Nature

Has so much to give.

Nearly one even year has passed like a never ending storm since that tragic moment when two worlds fell apart in the weirdest fashion ever imagined in wild. An unfortunate accident which caused one to erase the best part of memories while the other waited patiently for the other to make a comeback in proper form. They became complete strangers by forceful reason.

After Painful and silent observations of witnessing his beloved completely ignoring his presence and resting on someone else's blossom, he finally decided to shatter his silent glasses and make an approach to revive her best memories with the hope that true love never dies.

On a certain day, a Facebook conversation initiated by him -

Boy: Hey! Zero... How are you? :)
Girl: Zero??? Do you know me?
Boy: Yes, Of course, Don't you? :(
Girl: No, who are you?
Boy: Get your soul's imprints decoded. (Memories may erase but soul's imprints stay forever - Karma)
Girl: What??
Boy: Ask you tempo soul mate. He is a tech-guy after all. He will be able to decode for you and will let you know about your past karmas.
Girl: You know Saurav?

Boy: Most definitely. He gifted me a special title lately. ;)
Girl: I did not get you!

Boy: That's why you are zero. ( My Zero - whispers in mind)
Girl: Will you tell me who you are? And stop calling me zero.

Boy: I am one.
Girl: Bad one.

Boy: Actually not.
Look you are zero and i am one.
We are so close like a couple sitting next to each other lost inside each other's eyes. ( i wish you remember this line)
Yet we are so infinitely far apart like the infinite numbers between zero and one.
Girl: Are you some kind of mad?

Boy: I don't know the kinds :P
But i am the God you know, thanks to Saurav.
Girl: How do you know him? what did he tell you?

Boy: Irrelevant. Answer to the 2nd question is 'son of a bitch'.
Girl: What??

Boy: Which means i am a dog. right??
Girl: Why did he tell you that..n who are you.? I won’t ask again.

Boy: You already know that. Saurav knows it better coz he is not zero. Keep calm you may feel a little dizzy in vacuum.
You see he is a tech guy. when he says dog, he means God n God is the ultimate ONE. encoding u see. ;)
So I referred to him 4 your imprints decoding. got it?
Girl: Offline.Blocked.

A chat after so many days of waiting, made him nostalgic for a moment.
Boy to himself: Ahh! There goes my Zero. Memories gone yet attitude remained.Still the same only i am missing from the frame.

Then the harsh reality dawned upon him!
Does true love really survive forever? what do I do now? She is happy with Saurav, she has a good life now, while i am perishing. How long do I wait for my past days to become my future? Distracted with this thoughts, he turned to look at the book which belonged to her, his last possession of their love(Julius Caesar - which they had in school days) laid beside him. We could clearly see the highlighted lines read - "That's how great men bear great sorrow".

“Wow man, look at you, you have changed completely!” said Rishab with open arms.

“Rishab, my friend, how are you?  It is good to see you after such a long time.” I said as I went forward to give a hug.

“Feeling awesome, man, after seeing you and your extravaganza. My God! Expensive cars, awesome bungalow, rich flamboyant lifestyle, you are having a blast, bro. How do you manage to keep up with all these?” Rishab was truly elated.

“I am working in an IT Giant as a project manager” I lied.

“That settles everything now. You could never beat me in studies but I have to say you have completely surpassed me in this department. Good to find that you have finally moved on after the tragic death of your parents.”

“It is still 2-1 my friend. You have always won in school and college life, now I have won in job life. But you still score over me when it comes to Oindrila. She is still yours.” I smiled.

“Men will be men.  Nilesh told me that your uncle is jailed for murdering your parents! But why did he do so?” he changed the topic.

“You see I am a very trustworthy person. Even if I lie, it sounds true. It is the only quality I have” I could feel the tension building up as Rishab was getting uncomfortable.

“Thanks for believing me and coming tonight. Even the police believed my statements.” I continued.
“The fact is my uncle was trapped just as you are” I said with a natural evil smirk.

“What the ..” Rishab got up being totally confused.

“This is not a joke, dear Rishab” I took the gun out from the drawer and pointed at him.
“This gun is responsible for my parents’ death and my extravaganza. And now it will even the score between us”.

Recalling the past events is something I don't usually prefer to do. While some may consider it to be a great habit but the fact is I have not achieved anything remarkable yet to look back and appreciate.

My literary journey started back in school days mostly because of the great English teachers I had both in school and tuition.
They are the ones who inspired me by explaining short stories, poems and even dramas with innermost meanings and taking a literary work to a whole different level.

So Special Thanks To
1. Mrs .N.Majumdar Mam - From My School Who Always Believed In My Abilities. I Always Wanted To Improve My English Writing Skills To Keep Up With Her Endless Believe In Me. That Made Me Stronger.

2. Mrs. Swathi Banerjee Mam - My English Tutor In Class IX & X Who Is Actually Responsible For Growing My Interest In English Literature And Helping Me Developing A Passion For It. Her Interpretation Of Any Literary Piece Was Multi-Dimensional.

3. Mr. Rajib Chakravorty Sir - My English Tutor In Class XI & XII Who Gave Me The Confidence To Travel Further Miles.

So Class XI and XII and the first year of my college are some of the years when I wrote most of the poems which are getting published even now. Around that period I wrote around 20 poems, some of which were crappy and I eliminated them by the end of college life. A handful of 6-7 poems out of them were worth publishing and are selected for different anthologies.
-------------------------------------------------------

From the second year to final year of my college was the time when I thought of quitting my passion for writing. I did not even thought of writing and wrote nothing. It is the time that I regret the most now. This is the sole reason I am a late starter now.

1.      Akshita Parekh, a classmate in my college, read a post of mine on Facebook and on her first message, recommended me to try my writing skills and planted the idea of publishing them.

2.      Debasmita Purkait who encouraged me to write and visit a psychologist on a regular basis.

3.      Special mention goes to my friends Surya Kanta Dey and Santu Kandu who backed me a lot.

4.      My school friends Satyaki Sanyal and Sayak Deyashi are the best support system I have since school days.
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, after my college got over, I had some fruitful interactions with several people on Twitter who by then had published their works in Anthologies and even Novels.
Special Thanks To
1. Apurva Joshi - who gave me the idea about publishing in anthologies' contest.

2. Shilpa Suraj - who recommended me to join the Facebook group FWBA which is a very active group where all your doubts will be clarified by several authors in there.

3. Jyoti Arora - She helped me a lot to understand the publishing industry and about writings.

4. Biswadeep Ghosh Hazra - Who was very kind and helpful and it was him who told me about the ongoing writing contests and where to find them.

Since then it has really been a smooth journey so far.
I have got 2 rejection among 8 anthology writing contests that I took part so far which is a dream start for me.
One of which awarded me the best English poem in the book among 100 English poems.

There In That Tunnel Of Dense Darkness, My Existence Was Darkening Itself.  But My Stressed Heart Still Hoped For The Light At The End Of The Tunnel. My Weak Body Was Crawling And Dragging Itself To Reach That Ultimate Spot. But There Was Not A Single Ray Of Light There.
It Was Then My Foolish Brain Realized That Even In Utter Darkness I Had Completed My Journey And All The While Hope Was The Light Of Life That I Couldn’t See. So Let The Light Of Life Burn Bright In Your Life.
-Confession Of A Hopeful Cancer Patient Who Was Successfully Diagnosed.

Yeah, this is my first post, I mean, may not be the most conventional post to begin with, but I have always had a taste of being unconventional. So this is kind of perfect from my perfective. The purpose of my blog is not to reach out to a hell lot of people but it is more for a sweet reminder to me that my past had been constructive. Something that I had done that still sounds cool enough. Here are the little changes I am suggesting myself and you can try these as well while you find them convincing enough. No strings attached. You can suggest me as well though I am not expecting any comments as I am not really going to heavily promote my posts, unlike my other websites.

Actually, this occurred to me when I heard Sadhguru Jaggi say that in our life we are mostly unconscious of what we are doing and we are not exactly in control of our own life. Out of 24 hours and out of 30 days in a month, we really did not have even 10% of the total time being completely happy or blissful. So, naturally, as he suggested that something is wrong somewhere. You, like me, can blame the society and ultimately I am also a part of it and blindly following its unseen rules just to make a few people go soft on you. You don’t really do the things you want to do to make you happy, you might not get time or opportunity but you don’t even try as well. Difficult to make sense of all the above said unless you realize it yourself. Hence, the changes.

Make Peace Or Put A Full Stop.
1.       My past keeps troubling me a lot. I should not have done that, I should have done that and so on. It occupies 20% of total thinking time. This is where the concept of being positive comes into play. You have to be conscious and you can’t afford to give in to those thoughts. Whenever they appear, just stop them directly. Habit is a great thing that can heal it.

Strengths And Limitations.
2.      I did not actually know what I wanted to do because I was never aware of it until recently when I realize what my strengths are. How? Well, you have to try and fail to understand what are your weaknesses and strengths. Convert your weaknesses into strength is a good line but for me, it does not work. I am happy with my strengths and working on them to sharpen them further. So take your time out to find what you are good at and then do that thing only.

Compete With Best-Self.
3.       All my school life, I was comparing myself with everyone who was better than me. It yielded me great results but I never had the mental peace. Back in college, I adopted a new policy of competing with my best self and the results were not what I expected, but still good enough. At least I had complete mental peace throughout my college life and at the end of the day, our blissful sessions matter the most.

Watch It All.
4.       I realized quite late that if I have control over what I am thinking, it can be so much productive and positive. Similarly, I used to take unconscious actions and speak whatever that comes in the moment. Well, some say it is the best practice, but if you can control what you speak and do, why not apply it in real life. I became quite matured and peaceful, I had more time as I stopped bitching about other people and became completely non-offensive which made me unsmart but who cares dude! I am the architect of my life.

Just Be Yourself.
5.       Many times, I gave in to advice of people and ultimately I had to face the consequences which were not pleasant all the time. So I have decided to do my own things at least I will only blame myself if things go wrong! This is what they probably call as be yourself.

Time Heals.
6.       I am a believer in the saying that “Time heals everything”. When I go through a bad patch, I keep reminding myself of this and keep saying to me that “We will win”. I do the latter part every day in front of the mirror.

Be Conscious, Be Alive.
7.       With the passage of time and especially after becoming aware of my action, words and thought process, I am eventually becoming more conscious or somewhat alive. I have started analyzing rather than blaming so that I can do better next time. It gives mental peace than anxiety and depression.

Back Yourself.
8.       As I said I have stopped blaming people or myself and instead backing myself up as I know what my strengths are and self-estimation is the driving force that will carry you through when your mind and people around you would stop believing in you.

Meditate. Dive Within.
9.       The best thing that can happen to anyone’s life is meditation. There is no such peace as you will find in it. If you have control over your thought process, mind or actions, you will definitely love it more than any other activity in your life. It absorbs your daily stress, makes you joyous and revitalizes your body cells. This is a game changer.

Live And Explore
10.   Lastly, and this is my favorite, take your time out to explore the beauty of the world. You must do this once a year at least. This is going to break your mundane life and reenergize your body and mind. Keep your phones switched off and let no professional life’s thought block you from enjoying the vacation with your family. Spend a lot and eat your heart out. This is what you earn money for. Live your life.
